Meera Vartak

Consultant Psychologist and Psychotherapist

I’m a therapist who tries to see the person, not just what brings them to therapy. Curiosity, compassion, and creativity guide my work. While grounded in evidence-based approaches, what matters most to me is bringing my full presence to every session.

My approach is trauma-informed, queer-affirmative, and holistic. For me, therapy is about connection, acceptance, and collaboration… meeting you where you are, walking alongside you at your pace, and creating a space where every part of you feels safe, heard, and accepted. In therapy, we slowly explore the layers of your story and your inner world. At times, therapy may gently challenge, opening space for reflection, strengthening flexibility and nurturing agency – all held in a space of steady support, allowing healing to unfold gradually.

WHO I WORK WITH...

I support adolescents, adults, older adults, and young couples who come to therapy for many reasons—navigating distressing thoughts, emotions, and experiences, feeling stuck, seeking clarity, or exploring themselves more deeply. Others come to grow, show up more fully in their lives and relationships, or simply to have a nonjudgmental space to pause, reflect, and feel at home within themselves.

A LITTLE ABOUT ME...

Outside the therapy room, you’ll often find me wandering in nature, coffee in hand, lost in a good book, or curled up for a Netflix binge. I love connecting with friends and family, meeting new people while owning my socially awkward moments. An old soul at heart, I find joy in the little things…noticing the quiet magic woven into everyday life.
